Discover Alicanto in white and gold finish, the winning floor lamp of the prestigious Wall paper Design Award 2022, designed by Francesco Librizzi for the Italian company Fontana Arte.

Inspired by Chilean mythology, Alicanto refers to the nocturnal bird that lives in the Atacama desert and has the particularity of feeding exclusively on gold and silver. According to the fable, its food prevents it from flying but makes its wings shine with golden reflections. The miners, seeing its light in the darkness, followed it and thus found gold.

It is thus the image of this bird able
to light up the night, on the verge of flying away but firmly planted on the ground, the inspiration to find a name for this lamp post characterized by a slight imbalance towards the front. Its arched shape is projected forward to carry the light, almost as if to "extend" it, as far as possible.

Alicanto is a contemporary, solid and light light fixture with an innovative design, able to adapt to any environment. This floor lamp is perfect for your living room, dining room or any other room of your interior.

Made of metal, Alicanto is 250cm long and 230cm high. The LED module emitting 3000K and 2430 lm is included.
