Floor light, Re, white, LED, 3000K, 4800lm, Ø34cm, H89cm - Fontana Arte

Created in 1968 by the designer Bobo Picolli and re-edited in 2020 by Fontana Arte, Re and Regina are inspired by a chess game with soft and sinuous shapes.

Re and Regina are inspired by the history of art, from Cosmè Tura to the Flemish interiors of Jan Van Eych to the conceptual imagery of Marcel Duchamp who plays chess as a lifestyle. Re and Regina are Cartesian axes of a universe that crosses ages and cultures.

Re's profile stands out clearly in the white light diffused by the opalescent glass. More than a lamp, Re is a real glass sculpture.

An integrated LED module emits 3000K and 4800lm. A dimmer switch allows you to modulate the light and create different levels of intensity.

The Regina lamp measures 34cm in diameter and 89cm in height.
