Valerie_Objects publishes the N°5 suspension collection, designed by Studio Muller Van Severen.

These suspensions are the first luminaires, along with wall lights, designed by Fien Muller and Hannes Van Severen. The Belgian duo presented their creations in 2011 in a solo exhibition at Valerie Traan, the gallery of the artistic director of valerie_objets.

The design of this lamp is almost naive in its simplicity, yet the lines that make it up fill the space in a playful, colorful way. The N°5 suspension is composed of a curved brass steel tube and a 25cm-diameter white shade which, according to Hannes Van Severen, "has a fantastic shape: perfectly neutral". This tube is connected to cables in 2 places to give it its wavy shape and suspend it.

In a living room, dining room, hallway or office, Muller Van Severen's hanging lamps create space in the room, rather than filling it.

The pendant measures 66cm high and 112cm long. The diameter of the lampshade is 25cm. The E27 bulb is not supplied. Cable length is 7m.
