The Ninotchka 125 suspension lamp from Lyfa is part of the Ninotchka collection, designed by Bent Karlby in 1954.

An icon of Scandinavian design, it revisits a historic typology by combining an asymmetrical lampshade with a distinctive conical silhouette. This emblematic piece perpetuates Karlby's legacy as a master of geometric shapes and sculptural volumes.

Its black steel shade echoes the line of a hat worn by Greta Garbo in the film "Ninotchka", a direct source of inspiration for the designer. The top opening diffuses soft light towards the ceiling, while the direct downlighting creates a functional, comfortable look. Its asymmetrical geometry allows a subtle interplay of light and shadow, depending on the angle of view. The suspension finds its natural place in a reading corner, above a table or as a repetition in a corridor to reinforce its graphic character.

Ninotchka 125 measures W12.5 cm, H22.5 cm. It comes with a 3 m black textile cord and matching rose. The light is fixed, non-dimmable, and diffuses a direct light complemented by an upwardly diffused halo. The G9 LED bulb (max. 40 W) is not supplied, but is required for the luminaire to work properly.
