Henningsen in 1962 for the Danish firm Lyfa!

The suspension was originally designed for the Divan 2 restaurant in Copenhagen's Tivoli Gardens. It offered a spectacular view of the garden lake and, at night, the pendant's reflective surfaces were designed to catch the light of the colorful outdoor lighting and the lake.

It's a masterpiece of lighting, a feast for the eyes even when switched off. The manufacture of each pendant involves a meticulous multi-step process, during which each trapeze is polished by hand.

The product family comprises pendants in four different sizes. Each size is available in solid brass or polished stainless steel with multi-colored trapezoids (red, blue, violet, beige and teal).

The DIVAN 2 has won several Danish and international design awards. In 1963, it was even exhibited at the Louvre in Paris.

The luminaire has a diameter of 40cm and a height of 52.2cm. The E27 max 60W light source is not supplied. Textile cable (3m) and rosette are white.
