Henningsen in 1962 for the Danish company Lyfa!

The lamp was originally designed for the Divan 2 restaurant in Tivoli Gardens, Copenhagen. It offered a spectacular view of the garden's lake and, at night, the pendant's reflective surfaces were designed to catch the light from the coloured outdoor lighting and the lake.

It is a masterpiece of lighting, a pleasure to the eye even when it is switched off. The manufacture of each pendant involves a meticulous multi-step process, during which each trapeze is polished by hand.

The product family consists of pendants in four different sizes. Each size is available in solid brass or polished stainless steel with multi-coloured trapezoids (red, blue, purple, beige and teal).

The DIVAN 2 was awarded several Danish and international design prizes. In 1963 it was even exhibited in the Louvre in Paris.

The luminaire has a diameter of 40cm and a height of 52,2cm. The light source E27 max 60W is not included. The textile cable (3m) and the rose are white.
