Sun-Light of Love is a pendant light designed in 2020 by Tord Boontje for Foscarini.

Sun-Light of Love is a pendant light made of 390 elements, mechanically fixed on a central core. Inspired by the magmatic surface of the sun, Sun-Light of Love has a fluid and organic silhouette, and which plays with the separation between the inside and the outside, welcoming the solar star within homes. Perfect to light a room or to create a cosy mood around a table, Sun-Light of Love can be placed alone or in a group, in big commercial space or spaces made to host a public or as a signal above a meeting point, making them instantly personalised and recognizable.

Sun-Light of Love is to be mounted on the ceiling, thanks to a three-point fixture with steel cables. The lamp is both diffuse and punctual thanks to two light sources, one shining directly downwards, the other diffusely upwards. The lamp is in mat powder lacquered cold moulded steel, and liquid lacquered steel. The elements of the lamp protect from any glare. The lamp comes in pieces, approximately one hour is needed to assemble it.

Sun-Light of Love is available is two colours: bianco (white) or oro (gold). It is also available with two technologies: integrated LED or dimmable (Bluetooth via Casambi App).
