Used as shields, cymbals first appeared in Ancient Greece. Now used as a percussion instrument, their musical origins lie in the practice of striking one's shield with one's weapon to frighten the enemy and encourage one's courage in war. The Cymbal sconce is directly inspired by this musical instrument.

Thanks to the materials used, Cymbal brings a truly Japanese touch to your home. The lampshade is made of velvet for the upper part and bamboo for the lower part. This material effect clearly distinguishes the two cymbals.
