Tunto

Tunto is a Finnish design brand offering lighting that is nature-oriented, combined with technology and clean lines. Using noble materials like wood (oak, birch or walnut), Tunto lamps reflect the Nordic styles of the 50s & the 60s, handcrafted in Järvenpää’s studio in Finland. These lights have a distinct contemporary design; they mix the latest LED and OLED technology with wood, offering innovative ultra-slim table and floor lamps with a purity and fluidity in the contours, rewarded many times at design awards. Mikko Kärkkäinen, founder and designer of Tunto, won the Red Dot Award in 2009, the Good Design Award in 2009, and the Green Good Design Award in 2010.
