Birdy is a timeless design in wall, floor and table lamps designed by Birger Dahl in 1952, in a modernist style.

This series of luminaires was produced and sold by the Norwegian electricity company Sønnico (Oslo) for many years.
In 1954, the table lamp, then known as "S-30016" was awarded the esteemed Gold Medal at the Milan Triennale.


In 2013, Northern Lighting decided to relaunch this classic edition, taking care to preserve the original shape and highly functional features that gave this fixture its charm. The floor lamp is available in off-white or matte gray with satin nickel finish, and matte black with metallic brass finish.
The Birdy floor lamp has become a design icon, perfectly at home in an office, bedroom or living room.
