Norwegian company Northern Lighting reissues the long-lasting Birdy wall sconce in grey.

Birdy is a design timeless in wall, floor and table lamp versions, designed by Birger Dahl in 1952 in a modernist style.

This series of luminaires was produced and sold by the Norwegian electricity company Sønnico (Oslo) for many years.

In 1954, the table lamp, then known as "S-30016" was awarded the esteemed Gold Medal at the Milan Triennale.

In 2013, Northern Lighting decided to relaunch this classic edition, taking care to preserve the original shape and highly functional features that gave this lamp its charm.

The Birdy wall lamp, made of steel and aluminum, has become a design icon, and would be perfect as a space-saving wall-mounted bedside lamp, in a hallway or other room.

Its height, width and cable measure 24cm, 53cm and 2m respectively.

This luminaire is supplied without bulb. We recommend a 7W LED bulb with an E27 base.

Birdy wall is available in two other colors, black and white and in another shorter version with a 31.5cm arm.
