Meter is a warm, soft collection with architectural references and carefully combined artisanal details. The lamp's design is dynamic and stimulating, an object that leaves no one indifferent. A natural geometric rhythm links the wires behind the translucent lampshade to the fluted, column-like base. At the same time, the contrast between the cocoon's smooth fabric and the raw aluminum creates a clear tension. An unlikely pairing. When switched on, the lamp diffuses a warm, atmospheric light into its surroundings, adding character and softness to any space. Meter is a design lamp that enhances everyday scenography.

Danish design duo Maria Bruun and Anne Dorthe Vester are behind Meter. Their practice includes objects at the crossroads of architecture, design and fine art. They often focus on abstractions, such as idioms and functional hybrids, and on the aesthetics of materials and forms in relation to surrounding spaces - all created with intense attention to handcrafted detail.

Meter comes in two sizes: one-meter and half-meter. The column-shaped base is made of unpainted aluminum, and the lampshade is made of a wire structure covered with a hand-crafted cocoon material. The light source is flush with the base, creating a soft, warm lighting effect.

The floor lamp measures 50cm in height and 32cm in diameter. The LED bulb is included with a maximum power of 15W, and is an E27 socket. The black power cable with switch measures 2.5m.
