French designer and architect, Charlotte Perriand (1903-1999) is part of the 20th century modern movement. She designed Pivotante in 1950. This lamp has a simple yet avant-garde design and is composed of a steel base and a rotating aluminum shade. Charlotte Perriand favors the useful by creating a cylindrical body that can open on the sides. A very modern table lamp for its time! The light beam can be directed in all directions with a more or less strong intensity according to your needs. Indeed, the screens allow you to reduce the angle of opening on the light source and thus adjust the intensity. A true design icon for all architecture fans...

Pivotante is both modern and timeless. Its retro style brings back the nostalgia of the 50's in your interior while being particularly functional. You can easily place it on a desk, bookcase or table for direct lighting or to create a warm atmosphere.

It measures 20cm high and 12.5cm in diameter. The screens are movable up to 360° to control the intensity of the light. The switch is located on the 2.5m cable. The light source is not included. We recommend an E27 LED bulb, 60W max.
