Discover the Champ pendant light designed by Philip Bro for the Danish house Fransen.

With its elliptical shape and simple lampshade, Champ elegantly embodies the classic trend in today's interiors.

As is often the case in Philip Bro's designs, Champ's inspiration comes from interpreting the Danish design tradition. Indeed, there are references here to Poul Henningsen, who uses filtering and reflective metal shells, and to Verner Panton and his attachment to round, organic shapes.

If the name of this winning lamp is an abbreviation of "champion", seen from the side, the lamp also looks like a perfectly formed mushroom. This gives Champ a beautiful duality.

The designer himself plans to hang a cluster of Champ lamps of different colors, sizes and heights in his open kitchen and living room with high ceilings:
“I can’t wait to see how their character changes when the sun shines on them through the window throughout the day and into the dusk, where the internal glow from the lamps is slowly revealed and, in the evening, when every lamp will be illuminated in its own colour, size and place in the space,” says Philip Bro.

This matt black model measures 30cm in diameter and 17cm in height. The black cable measures 3m.
The light source is not included but we recommend an E14 bulb with a maximum power of 25W. The canopy is included.
