Discover the Navicula small suspension lamp, finished in natural bamboo, imagined by New Zealand designer David Trubridge.

This collection is inspired by the microscopic diatoms that live in the oceans and produce 50% of the air we breathe. Its floating, organic shape inspires the making of the suspension.

The lamp is made from solid, multi-layered bamboo plywood, creating a natural skeletal structure. Thanks to its openwork appearance, it projects magical patterns through the play of light and shadow. It is lit from within with an upward-facing LED strip that provides a soft ambient glow.

Navicula is ideal above a dining table, for a living room, entryway or as a sculptural lighting element. In 2016, Navicula won a Gold Best award and in 2017 a Good Design award. Navicula was part of Grand Designs New Zealand's "Floating Beach Bach" in 2020.

The Navicula small hanging lamp measures 144cm in length, 20cm in height and 57cm in depth. The integrated Led module with a power of 8W diffuses 2700K (warm white). Has two 5m nylon cables. Shipped flat in an eco-friendly carton and partially assembled to reduce the carbon footprint during shipping. Sustainably managed bamboo wood and nylon rivets. Driver included.
