Chiara is a table lamp designed by Mario Bellini in 1969 for Flos.

"One day in my studio it occurred to me that I could use light as it manifests itself in our environment and landscapes - never directly, but often through clouds or reflections on objects, walls and surfaces. And so, instead of saying "let's design a lamp," I said "let's design a device that can take light from an artificial source and reflect it back into our environment with some intelligence and grace."
Thinking about it was the easy part, but then came the hard part: what do you do in a case like this? I took scissors, a large piece of cardboard, and started cutting out something that could be made into a cylinder with a large cap on top that, when joined right and left, would act as a reflector for the light source housed in the base. And that was it."

That's how Chiara was born, an elegant and cheeky lamp that fits in every space, whether it's on a bedside table in a bedroom or on a sideboard in a living room.

The light source is not included (1x LED bulb, E14, max 10W, variable).
