Swiss architect Mario Botta designed the Shogun table lamp in 1986.

It is part of Artemide's "Masters' Pieces" collection. In this collection, the Italian company brings together timeless luminaires designed by the greatest masters of architecture of recent decades.

A true icon of design, the Shogun lamp is now on display at the Metropolitan Museum in New York. Mario Botta is inspired by his own architectural constructions. It stands out in particular through its mastery of light and the search for a balance of forms between richness and sobriety. This table lamp therefore brings an architectural and retro style to all interiors. It can be placed on a table in a living room, office or bedroom. Thanks to its adjustable diffuser, this designer luminaire creates a real interplay of contrasts between light and shadows.

Shogun consists of a black and white painted metal base on which are articulated two adjustable diffusers made of perforated steel sheet. The openwork structure creates beautiful shadow projections that can be modified according to our desires by moving the diffusers.
The base measures 12cm in diameter and the lampshade 32cm in diameter. The height of the lamp is 59.5cm. We recommend an E27, 8W LED light bulb (not included).
