Table lamp, Patroclo, grey, Ø65cm, H60cm - Artemide
Created in 1975, the Patroclo lamp stands out for its fragile and warlike appearance.
Gae Aulenti is a pioneer among the generation of female architects of the 20th century.
Patroclo is exhibited at the MoMa in New York.
A well-defined industrial style, Patroclo fits on a bedside table, a coffee table in a living room. It is the centerpiece of your decoration.
Patroclo consists of a transparent glass body moulded in a metal cage. Like a coat of mail, this steel net conforms to the shapes and protects this fragile body.
The glass is blown directly into the steel make-up and gives rounded shapes.
When the lamp is on, the openwork structure projects a multitude of geometric shadows.
Patroclo measures 65cm long and 60cm high. It diffuses a light of 2900 kelvins and 1180 lumens.
Patroclo is an Italian-made product.
