Floor light, Mantis BS8 L, black, Ø35cm, H174cm - DCW éditions Paris

Designer Bernard Schottlander created the Mantis collection in 1951, reissued by DCW Editions.

He was then inspired by the work on mobiles by Alexander Calder for the launch of this collection.

This new version of the Mantis floor lamp retains its unique interplay between balance and imbalance, but this time with a new tilting system. The rack-counterweight is left in favor of a hollow circle on which an adjustable wheel circulates to orient the rod. The base is then more graphic to set itself up as a real sculpture. This new design also allows a wider inclination of the lamp, to further optimize its use.

The floor lamp is composed of a steel foot surmounted by the graphic structure which allows the rocker. The rod crosses the pendulum system and ends with the lampshade characteristic of this collection which is mounted on a ball joint to orient it according to desires.

The light source is not supplied, we recommend an E14, 15W LED bulb. The switch in the form of a push button is located on the cable.
