The black Terra portable lamp is imagined by Studio OEO for Danish brand Mater, as part of the eponymous collection launched in 2025.

Made from Matek™ - an innovative material based on recycled coffee grounds - and steel, this lamp embodies Scandinavian know-how applied to sustainable innovation. Its design is a direct result of the possibilities offered by this material, designed for both indoor and outdoor use (IP44 protection rating).

Its conical, minimalist aesthetic plays on a combination of dark colors and natural textures. Tactile, robust and light at the same time, it fits perfectly into a living room, terrace or garden, placed on a table. Its sober design allows it to be integrated into contemporary or natural decors. Thanks to its integrated touch dimmer, it offers a lighting ambience that can be adjusted according to the time of day.

The Terra hand lamp features an integrated 4W LED module with a temperature of 2700K and a power of 230 lumens. The light is direct and fixed, with a CRI of 90, offering excellent color rendering. The touch dimmer lets you choose between three brightness levels: 100%, 50% or 20%. It recharges fully in 6 hours via an included USB-C cable, and offers up to 10 hours of autonomy. Please note that the IP44 rating means it can be used outdoors, sheltered from inclement weather, so remember to bring it indoors.
