Artemide presents its Eggboard acoustic pendant light, designed by Massimo Roj.

Eggboard combines acoustic comfort and high-end lighting with a minimalist design. This large extra-flat acoustic panel made of PET is covered with a phono-absorbent fabric mesh. The acoustic efficiency is also enhanced by the small raised craters running through the inside of the panel. This non-planar surface thus produces a rupture on the sound wave: the hollows capture the sounds, they are then returned several times and absorbed, thus maximizing absorption. Eggboard absorbs sounds and reduces their reverberation like no other pendant lamp on the market.
The light is diffused through multiple symmetrical openings with reflectors positioned in the centre of the panel.

Ideal in a living room, above a dining table, this pendant light is also suitable for the different requirements of public and collective places: restaurant, bar, offices, meeting room/conference room, museum, hotels, etc.

The dimensions are 80cm wide by 80cm long. The thickness of the panel is 5.6cm. Available in white or grey on our website. Apple green colour on request.
The LED system 16W, 3000 kelvins, 1313 lumens, CRI 80, dimmable, DALI is integrated into the luminaire. The light source is direct. A model with direct and indirect light is also available.
The lighting complies with the regulations for office activities with screens. For optimal efficiency, it is recommended to place the acoustic panel about one meter above the noise source.
