Designed by Boris Berlin for Danish brand Made by Hand, the Flying suspension lamp is part of a contemporary, responsible approach to design.

Part of the eponymous collection launched in 2023, it embodies the Scandinavian spirit through a fluid formal language and sustainable manufacturing.

It is available in 3 different diameters: here, the 96cm diameter version in mist blue.

With its organic shape and airy textile volume, Flying seems to float in space. Its 3D knitted shade in flame-retardant polyester diffuses a soft, even light, ideal above a dining area or in a large living room. Its light silhouette blends perfectly into a minimalist or natural interior, adding a graphic touch with understated simplicity.

Equipped with an integrated LED module (24W, 3000K, 2600 lm, CRI >95), the Flying suspension produces non-dimmable 360-degree diffused lighting. It has a 3-meter black cable, an integrated horn and is easily mounted as a ceiling fixture. The luminaire is flatly packaged to reduce its environmental impact.
