The Hyphen collection, imagined by the Canadian company Darmes, is the fruit of over a year's reflection to offer creations that combine eco-design and unique form.
This suspension is the result of an association with ceramic artist Gréta Jonckheere. The Hyphen suspension is designed in one piece, seamlessly and by hand in a Quebec workshop. This partnership gave rise to a unique form, which Alexandre Joncas and Gildas Le Bars then adapted in a version in sand-blasted black steel.
This luminaire is composed of 2 round cylindrical bodies joined at their centers in opposite directions. These 2 parts are linked by a pivot that allows the orientation and position of each body to be adapted. The light source closes each cylinder.
With its sand-blasted black coating, the suspension has character and energizes its environment. In a living room or bedroom, Hyphen unites opposites to create harmony. Its sand-blasted color brings out the luminaire's rounded contours, giving it a more raw, natural presence.
The luminaire bodies measure 24cm in height. They can be rotated through 90°.
In keeping with their commitment to eco-responsibility, the designers have chosen to offer this collection with PAR30S, 26W, 3000K, 2000lm LED bulbs, supplied and replaceable.
