The OHM luminaire by Davide Groppi, designed by Davide Groppi himself, is a sculptural, poetic lighting project that rethinks light as a line suspended in space rather than a traditional object.
It is based on a very thin unipolar wire stretched from wall to wall, evoking the image of a tightrope walker on a rope, where light appears without being visible, focusing all attention on what it illuminates rather than on itself. This electromechanical concept makes the most of the properties of LEDs, creating a light, fascinating presence in space.
In modern, contemporary or minimalist interiors, the OHM system transforms lighting into an architectural gesture. Installed between two walls or suspended in a space, it becomes perfect for creating fine lines of light above a corridor, a worktop or along a wall niche. Its discreet design lets the light play without distracting from the surrounding décor, and is suitable for living rooms or professional environments.
OHM works with a 2700K LED module, which is fixed along the tensioned wire. The single-pole wire is supplied in 12m. Remote driver included. Dimmable DALI/PUSH/1-10 V.
