Table lamp, Quadro, chrome, marquina black, Led, 2700K, 2000lm, L60cm, H58cm - LUMEN CENTER ITALIA
The legendary Quadro lamp was created 75 years ago by the great designer Jacques Adnet.
This sculptural and incredibly avant-garde lamp is now reissued by Lumen Center Italia. Quadro illustrates the idea and style of the rationalist movement emerging in the early 30s.
Inspired by Futurism, geometric abstraction and the Modern Movement, Quadro is characterized by the use of noble materials such as chromed brass, used for the lamp body. Only two changes have been made to the original model: the base is in glossy black marble and the four diffusers are no longer in glass, but in high-quality sandblasted acrylic.
Jacques Adnet, a 20th-century French architect and decorator, was firmly rooted in the Art Deco movement that began in Paris in the 1920s. Known for his avant-garde design, Adnet was one of the first to integrate metal and glass into furniture.
The Quadro lamp is a timeless design statement, perfect on a desk, sideboard or console. It features a dimmer to adapt light intensity to your needs.
