The message behind Guns lamps, is one of Philippe Starck idea : « If we are living a good life, it is because someone else is dying. » Strong political commitment, polemical tone but above all beauty found behind one of human’s most paradoxical activity : war. Here is what Guns represents.

Le golden lamp’s leg criticize how much modern men gain money and power out of guns sale. Its black diffuser stands for war’s inescapable end. Each model is shaped in a gun that reflects a region of the world : the Table Gun table lamp is United States. Guns is made of aluminium alloy and covered in 18 carats shining gold plated and a black laminated paper diffuser. Inside the diffuser are printed black crosses, in memory of war victims.

Strong of its significance, it leaves no one indifferent. It hit its mark in every interior and has golden and black tones that suit a lot of different styles. It will give a lot of personality and style as a bedside lamp in a bedroom, on a drawer in a living or dinning room, or on a pedestal table in the entrance. It will allow to create a « lounge » atmosphere with its warm light, for a real spy interior.
