Charles-Edouard Jeanneret, known as Le Corbusier, was a pillar of the modernist architectural movement.

Among his notable works is the Cité Radieuse in Marseille, which he designed between 1945 and 1952. This building, resembling a “vertical village,” is now designated a historic monument.

It was for this complex that Le Corbusier designed the Marseille lamp collection. In 1954, he conceived the Marseille lamp for all of its apartments. Always striving for excellence, he developed lighting fixtures that optimized illumination while combining performance with avant-garde design. Their unique design adorns the walls of a living room, office, hallway, or bedroom.

These light fixtures are now produced by Nemo Lighting for the general public! A functional piece that is both retro and modern, crafted from aluminum. Inspired by 1950s industrial lighting, the Marseille Mini lamp features a shade composed of two cones of different sizes. The first, with a diameter of 30 cm, is positioned beneath the second, which measures 11 cm in diameter. The lamp’s asymmetrical cones are each equipped with an independent light source to create direct or indirect lighting, depending on your preference. The entire arm is articulated. The adjustable shade can be rotated 340°.

The wall sconce measures 85 cm in total length and 50 cm in height. Light bulbs are not included with the fixture. We recommend two E14 LED bulbs, 46W. The cord is optional and measures 1.6 m. The Marseille wall lamp (mini version) is available in various colors: white, gray, and black (new for 2018!).
