Charles-Edouard Jeanneret, known as Le Corbusier, is a pillar of the modern architecture movement.

Between 1945 and 1952, he designed Marseille's Cité Radieuse. The building, which resembles a "vertical village", is now a listed monument.

Le Corbusier designed the Marseille lamp collection for the Cité Radieuse. In 1954, he designed the lampe de Marseille for all the apartments. Always striving for excellence, he developed luminaires that optimize lighting and combine performance and avant-gardism. His atypical designs adorn the walls of a living room, office, corridor or bedroom.

These luminaires are now available from Nemo Lighting for the general public! A functional object both retro and modern, made of aluminum. Inspired by the industrial lighting of the 1950s, the Marseille Mini lamp has a shade made up of two cones of different sizes. The first, 30cm in diameter, is positioned below the second, measuring 11cm in diameter. The lamp's asymmetrical cones are each equipped with an independent light source to create direct or indirect lighting as desired. The entire arm is articulated. The adjustable shade can be moved through 340°.

The total length of the sconce is 85cm and 50cm high. Bulbs are not included. We recommend two 46W E14 LED bulbs. The cable is supplied and measures 1.6m. It can be cut for cable-free wall mounting. The lampe de Marseille wall lamp in mini version is available in various colors: white, gray and black (new for 2018!).
