Charles-Edouard Jeanneret, known as Le Corbusier, is the pillar of the modern architectural movement.

He designed the Cité Radieuse in Marseille between 1945 and 1952. This building, similar to a "vertical village", is now classified as a historical monument.

It is for this city that Le Corbusier designed the Marseille lamp collection. In 1954, he imagined the Marseille wall lamp for all these apartments. In the search for excellence in all his projects, he has developed lighting fixtures that optimize lighting. It thus combines performance and avant-gardism. The atypical design of the Marseille wall lights decorates the walls of a living room, an office, a hallway, a staircase or a bedroom near a bed.

Today, Nemo Lighting publishes these architectural lighting fixtures for the general public! This functional object, both retro and modern, is made of aluminium. The Marseille wall lamp is directly inspired by the industrial lighting of the 1950s. It has a shade made up of two cones of different sizes. Each is 17cm and 14cm in diameter respectively. These asymmetrical cones are each equipped with an independent light source to create direct or indirect lighting according to your wishes.

The depth is 28cm and the height is 40cm. Bulbs are not included with the luminaire. We recommend two E27, 52W LED bulbs. The Marseille wall lamp is available in white, grey and black (new in 2018!).
