Charles-Edouard Jeanneret, known as Le Corbusier, is the pillar of the modern architectural movement.

He designed the Cité Radieuse in Marseille between 1945 and 1952. This building, similar to a "vertical village", is now classified as a historical monument.

It is for this city that Le Corbusier designed the Marseille lamp collection. In 1954, he imagined the Marseille lamp for all these apartments. Always in search of excellence, he has developed luminaires that optimize lighting and combine performance and avant-gardism. Its atypical design decorates the walls of a living room, an office, a hallway or a bedroom.

These luminaires are now published by Nemo Lighting for the general public! A functional object that is both retro and modern, made of aluminium. Inspired by the industrial lighting of the 1950s, the Marseille lamp has a shade made up of two cones of different sizes. The first, 50cm in diameter, is positioned under the second, which measures 17cm in diameter. The asymmetrical cones of the lamp are each equipped with an independent light source to create direct or indirect lighting according to your wishes. The entire arm can be articulated. The swivelling shade can be moved through 340°.

The total length of the wall lamp is 166cm by 80cm high. Bulbs are not included with the luminaire. We recommend a LED bulb E27, 70W for the Ø50cm lampshade and a LED bulb A60, 70W for the Ø17cm lampshade. The cable, with plug, measures 2.8m. The Marseille wall lamp is available in various colours: white, grey and black (new in 2018!). The mini version is also available on your website.
